Isn't it just saying that you are at 80% of your monthly limit or are you on unlimited data?

I was on 3 last year (contract) purely for their feel at home in Europe and NZ. They make it very clear in their T's & C's that it is intended for holiday use and not for long term.

I've had a number of contracts with Three for some years in face I changed my last EE contract over to Three this week. The T&Cs have been clearly explained before signing on every occasion. (y)

I had a SIM contract with them ( cheap mifi in 2011) and phoned up and cancelled. They started another contract without my permission. I noticed this on a bank statement a few months later. I phoned them on at least two occasions for a refund and was assured it was forthcoming while they tried to re-sell me a package - a good 3 hours of my life down the drain. I had to invoke the DD mandate to take most of the money back and about 6 months later got a phone call from someone sensible within 3 who refunded even more money. Payg sim is fine - no interaction with them.

No it isn't they 'll still treat you like shite, remove money from the account, close the account for no reason, accuse you of lying , even when you have proof. Utter scum of a company.

Strangely enough, I'm with EE and just upgraded my sim only deal and it's now Unlimited calls, unlimited texts and 10gb data per month all use in EU countries back home. International data for £15.00 per month

Despite the reality that they do not top the list for complaints for mobile services, when I was sailing they were by far the best for data coverage and I still get good coverage with then, stream TV when O2 can barely make a voice call

Not knocking the coverage, it is their back office which is disreputable. Payg card from Amazon or Mymemory, bin it and they do not know who you are. They make it easier for you as they charge you more if you buy more data so it is cheaper to buy a new sim.

im a not so newbie
I used them in H K, N Z and Australia last year.
All good as far as I was concerned it was a 1 month rolling data contract.
No one else could touch them for price and coverage.

I think they are the only ones doing payg and allow the credit to run for over a month as well which is handy for using in trackers.
