@DavidG58 couldn't be there as got a family do on Saturday night, big birthday so can't abstain unfortunately, although did try! Also RV grounded as the LCD reader on the odometer decided to pack in so as we've got other stuff on this weekend and a wedding next weekend we sent it off to USA for repair but should get it back in 2 weeks.

now I am already confused, looking at photo of who was already there yesterday I was sure one of the few I recognised was your Allan, so it wasn't him under the shelter at Falkirk last night then, have you checked to see if your RV is still there?

The clown on the horse right by my MH clearly doesn't have any idea how fragile the front of Hymers are, or how expensive the headlights are, about 5 seconds after this photo he reversed his ton of equine uselessness into me

Not even a glance back or nod to me, just trotted off, never did like horses and most of them that ride the things

(Note the careful use of the word 'most' anybody who mixes horses and motorhomes will be exempt from my statement)

rant over, have just fixed an electrical problem that I thought I would need the combined forces of all at Falkirk, so feeling chuffed at my unknown and until now completely hidden skills, the full story may come out over a drink or several tonight

Well, we've had a fab BBQ & met some lovely folks, oh did well on BBQ duties (though I say so myself). Rain settled in though but has cleared now.

What they don't tell you is the guy in the 1st pic @George Graham does a mean line in alcofrolic stuff. We've been treated to Bailey's Scottish Tablet (where are you Bertie?) Chocolate Brandy Profiteroles, Werther's Toffee Wodka + a beautiful Cointreau......oops Wodka jellies (how could I forget!)

Anthea I don't think the french will be getting quite as much rain for May.

I put an order in for sunshine but I think the weatherman doesn't know his ass from his elbow. Rain rain and more rain. David is going to be in his glory if it persists tonight.
