trying to find some sort of storage pipe about 6" in dia, so that I can store my windbreak etc in and will be able to fit it to my cycle rack.

Underground drainage pipe Plus end caps and solvent weld.

Try a builders merchants, they will stock various diameters of plastic pipe. We hung some 4" diameter plastic pipe behind the grey water tank, it carries the ladder (stripped down into it's component parts) for accessing the bed on it's higher setting. Usually unused, it's with us if we ever need it.

What might be the difficult part is sealing the ends so the windbreak does not shoot out on cornering.

I had one on a previous mh, just a length of 'stink pipe' with end caps. They never came adrift on corners. Kept windbreaks in it.

Had white 6 inch drainage pipe mounted across rear tow-bar was really useful especially if awning carpet was wet
