    E mail today

We've launched a new campaign today to stop fuel tax going up again, and we really need your help. You can read all about it on our site:

    It's Your Duty - PetrolPrices.com - PetrolPrices.com

The aim is to stop another 2p fuel duty hike, to get the Government to explain how our fuel tax is spent, and to demand that fuel tax is spent on improving transport in the UK.

Thanks in advance for your support!

As is usual with these lobby groups there appears to be a total lack of alternatives showing where else taxes ought to rise or spending ought to be cut in order to avoid rises in fuel tax.

Could that be because they only have narrow self interest at heart?

If I've missed anything on their web site please tell me.

Opec would disagree with you on that.

Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries

    08/04/2009: $50.25 ($0.71)

The price of OPEC basket of twelve crudes stood at 50.25 dollars a barrel on Wednesday 8/4/09, compared with $50.96 the previous day, according to OPEC Secretariat calculations.
