Stellplatz at straelen, attached to indoor swimming pool. You can use facilities when pool is open (not Mondays).

Not a stellplatz, but this is a nice wee 10 unit site https://camperboerderijdesoley.nl/. Toilets are posh/ immaculate.
Wow, lovely, thank you.

I realise now there are two places in your reply.

I think we are going to book the latter, thank you so much .

We have stayed, several times, at either end of your route.

For Hoek of Holland, we stayed at Delft, there is enough to see and do that it's worth staying a couple of nights and you are 30 mins from the ferry.
Delftsehout campsite
It's popular, so you will need to book.
It has space for about 30-40 vans staying 1 or 2 nights
(Plus proper pitches for those staying longer)

At the other end we head for the town of Braubach.
It's right on the Rhein south of Koblenz and all three routes towards Rotterdam are within a few miles.
It's a nice little olde worlde town with a castle and a number of bars and resturants.
It has a large stellplatz on the river and also Green Camping is 100m upstream, so you can get a pitch overlooking the river.

We tend to get the overnight ferries, as you get a cabin as part of the fare, and it means you have all day to arrive at either end.

We use the daytime crossing as it's CHEAPER! You also get a chance to relax and watch the world sail by.

We had a very quiet night alongside the canal at Breda (€4 from memory). Easy drive after pm arrival.
We've had moderately noisy nights alongside the Rhine at Gorinchem Marina (€15?)
There's a lovely marina at Neer, just north of Roermond (€15?). [S of Venlo]

Xanten has interesting Roman remains but I was in the car so can't comment on overnighting.

Gordon
