Spare wheel takes up too much space in the garage want to fit a carrier under the van. Anyone know anyone who can fit one in the Manchester area?

If you have an x250 fiat base vehicle, the wind down carrier is a straight fit. The sockets for the bolts are already there.

If you're putting the wheel under the van put it in a black bin liner, tape it up then when you need it it will be nice and clean, but make sure the bin liner is away from the exhaust pipe or it could melt it.

The fiat light chassis had 15" wheels and was made from 2007 to 2015.

This is really not such a good idea. The bin liner will create lots of condensation which will in turn cause the wheel to rust. It also makes it difficult to check the pressure of the spare.

I recently fitted the fiat wheel lowering mechanism to a renaulr master chasis, very easy job, check out techno,s post for full set of instructions.
