we are considering starting a small campsite, 10 pitches with electric, in Hale, Merseyside. Do you think it will be a good spot? Nice village, 2 pubs. On flight path which wouldn't bother us, maybe some people would like it if they are into commercial, (sometimes military) aircraft. Thoughts please?

Sounds good to me, my O.H likes nothing better than to be under the flight path.

I think it would be a great idea as there is a distinct lack of camping/caravanning facilities in Liverpool due mainly to the amount of new hotels in the area, but you may come up against local opposition as this is a thatched cottage type village and quite picturesque.

Good idea, is there a rail link with Liverpool or public transport near by.

If I was a bit younger I would be thinking of a 100 pitch campsite in Liverpool. There is always something going on in the city and very little parking for motorhomes. Go for it, you cannot go wrong.

Go for it, I wish I had the land to do this, the time and the money. Not far for me to travel and go for a nice pint in the Child of Hale.

    Is 10 pitches economic?
There must be a reason so many landowners go for the cl/cs model.
