Sky Go Firestick Error (1 Viewer)

Hi

Anyone successful at loading Sky Go ont a firestick and it working.

I have loaded the app OK but when I try to.open it I get error -20190005 and the screen resolution looks awful. Google hasn't got any results so far except for android phones to update the Web App.

Anyone had similar issues and solved it please.

Same problem here a while ago. went down lots of rabbit holes before giving up and going back to PC for SkyGO. Sorry no help but just sympathy

I feel its a screen issue and needs some sort of browser to load properly but not sure what.

I put it down to the processing power of the Firestick not being good enough. I notice that even on the PC SkyGO uses tons of processor power with the cpu fan going at 100% all the time to keep things cooler.

It's also not currently working on our Xbox. And even on the laptop I've found the Sky Go app is a bit flakey at times.....I just don't think it's a very reliable app

It works great on my tablet using same phone hoptspot, just wanted to see bigger screen.

I've also tried getting SkyGo to work on a firestick, even using the youtube hacks that say they definitely work..... and they don't!

Since SkyGO is not officially supported on the firestick, that will be why you are having problems. There is no SkyGo app available for the Firestick.
This is why you side load other versions (like various mobile phone or tablet versions) of the app and simply hope the one of them works. Can be very random which works.
