Hi everyone
We have just insured our MH through Insurance Choice and received the documents today (We had a letter from Frank Pickles that they were no longer providing insurance hence the change of agent). The insurance is through Aviva and appears ok, however the breakdown/rescue is with Silver Knight Rescue. Has anyone had any dealings with them?
There is no mention of length or weight in terms of recovery and reading the small print brings up some things that we are a bit concerned about.
"alternative transport - if the insured vehicle is immobilised following an accident, breakdown or fire and in our opinion the immobilisation will exceed 24 hours, we will contribute towards the cost of hiring an alternative vehicle for a maximum of 48 hours during the period of which the insured vehicle is immobilised pending local repairs up to an amount not exceeding £45 per day and £90 in total"
- does not appear to be very much and if major issues would imagine that repair would be longer than two days.
We are going to ring the agents tomorrow to clarify some things and would appreciate any comments from those who have used Silver Knight.
Thank in advance
Kath and Howie
