can somebody tell me how you send a pm please

Find who you want to send a pm to, click their name, opens up their 'card' then click on 'start conversation'

There are at least a couple of ways!

The easiest is to click on the avatar of the person you wish to message, you will get a pop-up with information about them, click on "start a conversation" and off you go....

Otherwise on the top menu bar above your own avatar there is an "inbox" button, hover over that and "start a new conversation" comes up as an option, click on that.

If you know the member' name you can type in the first three letters and you get a pick list you can chose from.

I never know how to refer to these now, everyone used to know what you meant if you said you'd just PMd them ... but saying I've just 'conversationed' you doesn't seem right!
