In the near future I'm going to see if I can find somewhere in wales that does kayaking and get a bit more practice in as well, if I find it I'll let you know, maybe if you can get some time from your busy schedule, you can come and have a go

Bala is pretty good for kayaking. There is a place on the lake that does hire and basic instruction, plus nearby there is a whitewater school if you like the rough stuff!


We dropped Scott off at the airport, his plane was 15 mins late taking off but is on the way now. We are home

That's funny as I wasn't far from Bala last night and decided not to drive past it this morning
I have done the rafting there

Home at last, washing on the go, van swept, lawnmower out and ready to attack the garden.
Thanks to everyone for a great meet, I know the weather wasn't that good but thanks to so many willing hands the socialising was great. We really enjoyed meeting old friends and making new ones. A special thanks to Kate, and Sandra for the food and for organising the entertainment and especially Mew and friends for all the washing up.
Sadly we are not going to be able to make the Falkirk meet, but for those travelling on to Caithness we look forward to meeting you up north.

Hi all. home from hospital and now on the mend, chest is sore after having the stents put but deffo feeling a lot better.
Hope you all had a great time at the Bus Museum , been there at rallies a few times it is a great location, even drove some of the buses there.
