Visiting this damp,cold windy country is one thing....... living here full time is another

Allan's folks live in Glasgow and would agree with you too. We see it through rose coloured spectacles when we visit and even if it rains we don't mind as we always have a great time. The grass is always greener on the other side eh!

Nice glass but prefer the Islay malts.

On one of the single week trips, if you fancy taking it slower we did closer to 2.5 miles rather than 250 a day round Loch Lomond. Great views, parking and walking all the way round.
Just layby's rather than sites (if you can manage without hookup LOL) We saw every nationality van there last year and are there again in July.
Will get further one year!!!
