Guy I am working with father's, bought a £1700 trailer of ebay, got directed to a fake site and lost his money.

He then bought another one for £2700, but drove to Wolverhampton to pick it up and paid cash, said he wouldn't be caught twice.

If I was smart it must be easy to write a programme that could compare / match prices to ages of vehicle's and flag them up when too cheap :thumb: (if anyone does it , don't forget my idea commission ) but as things stand ebay are leaving it for us to spot and report items :Eek!: I rarely report the scams I spot simply because others on here do it for me/us :thumb: (it's a bit clumsy on the tablet but a lot easier on computer :thumb:)perhaps ebay should pay for scam spotter's say £1 for each but then that would lead to them employing more staff to check genuine ones from the scams
