Replacement Thatcham alarm certificate

    does anyone know how to get a replacement certificate? just sold the van and can't find the certificate anywhere!

    From the original installer

    From alarm manf if known and fitter bothered to register the install

    From insurance company if they requested a copy from you or
    maybe just the relevant serial numbers

    last resort
    You may have to get it re certified

    you will probably need to go to the original installer.....I think they should have a record of the install

    The dealer who fitted it are the only ones likely to have a copy , crazy really as it is supposed to be such an important document . Thatcham won't have a copy although it is Thatcham approved , and if it's a Toad alarm they will want £150 to re certificate it , :thumb:

    I had mine fitted by RAM in Hull they no Longer trade so i have mine safe

    or i thought i did now where did i put it ???
