Renault semi auto gearbox (1 Viewer)

Having parked van on a steep slope for 4 days, problem engaging drive in reverse. Slowly pulled out but problems engaging 1st. Coasted downslope and parked on level ground, half hour later all well.
Travelled home 1200 mls no further problems.
Is this a fluid problem level , anyone had similar experience.

I have the same gearbox and found if you leave it in gear on a slope the handbrake on the Renault master allows a slight creep,
This effectively loads the gearbox and the gear change servos find it difficult to pull it back to neutral,
so I simply chock the wheels and leave it in neutral, if I have to use the levelling blocks I get it level and the missus chocks the wheels,
