Red Key

    Do fiat's still have the red key system on there 2008/09/10 models? Does anybody know?

    No, fiat scrapped the red key around 2006 I think.

    They stopped manufacturing ducatos with a red key around 2003 although you may find a few vans which were not registered for a while on later plates with a red key.

    Yes Pappa when we bought ours , a 2006 I was adamant we needed a red key , and a spare.
    I had read on here that you had to make sure you were given it as they cost a fortune to replace.
    The salesman told us they stopped doing them the year before.:Blush:
    Infact he said he "wished customers wouldnt spend ages on these motorhome forums , because they were full of old men who thought they knew it all, and didn't , and had nothing else better to do all day " :Angry::Eek!:

    just searching the web and it appears the red key was scrapped when fiat brought out the JTD range.
