Radio Code Error!!! (1 Viewer)

Hi just sitting at grantown on Spey site listening to radio , it goes off and I try to switch it back on only get the welcome sign then CODE ERROR can't get it to anything but switch off , any ideas anyone

Hi,mine does it all the time , I just turn the ignition on & it resets itself . Pain in the derriere ,can't be bothered to get it sorted.

You can set up the radio to not turn off after every 20 minutes but then it does not operate automatically with the ignition

On our old van turning hazard warnings on opening a door or turning ignition on off bought the radio back to life.

Sounds like one of those 'Stand with your left foot in a bowl of water whilst holding the aerial, and then point at the radio transmitter to optimise performance' things !!

Its the vans ecu switching to sleep mode
As well as the advice above switching the headlights on and off will reset things
