what a shame mate, but its for the best.
Feel for you indeed ... been doing the same 2 years ago...but you've done the best for her , no more pain for her. I am sure she went peacefully just seing your love in your eyes
Sorry to hear that. You know that she had a good life with you and that you did the right thing by her.
Chin up mate, you still have the other scallywag to keep you on your toes
So sorry, it is always hard, but the right decision for her. You will be able to
remember and smile without tears in the future and be able to see you helped her go peacefully and what a good life she had and enjoyed.

When I am gone, release me, let me go-
I have so many things to see and do.
You must not tie yourself to me with tears,
Be happy that we had so many years.
I gave you my love, you can only guess
How much you gave me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you have each shown.
But now it is time I traveled alone.
So grieve awhile for me if grieve you must,
Then let your grief be comforted by trust,
It is only for a while that we must part,
So bless the memories within your heart,
I will not be far away, for life goes on,
So if you need me, call and I will come.
Though you can not see or touch me, I will be near.
And if you listen with your heart, you will hear
All my love around you soft and clear.
And then, when you must come this way alone,
I will greet you with a smile and "Welcome Home".**
Martin you did the right thing, my heart goes out to you.
I know how you feel after loosing Bruno earlier this year.
Chin up mate.
for the best yosser, you made the right decision.
lulu had 17 great years as part of your family, she's not gone, she's playing painlessly at rainbow bridge.:thumb:
I know it is a horrible decision to make, but sometimes the best ones are not the easiest. Best her for, not easy for you. At least you extended the love you always gave her, even when the times got tough - sad saying goodbye, but hold your head up, as you gave her the best years!
You can only do your best for her, and that you have done. At least she doesn't bear those strains now!
Oh Martin & Lynn we are so sorry, our thoughts are with you.

Sorry to hear this sad news mate.... I was just saying how well she looked at the cheshire show
She had a good long life with you Martin, you couldn't have given her a better time and you've done the right thing in the end. Remember the pleasure she gave you and you gave her.
You did the right thing Martin.
I really feel for you. Big hugs from me
So sorry for you, what a dreadful day for your family. Sending a hug.
Horrible decision to make.
You made the right one though.
We feel so sorry for you we went through the same thing 3 years ago and still not got over the loss of our jack russel scamp but we still have her sister jessie who is 16 years old ,hope you can come to terms with your loss all the best lawrence and judy.
So sorry to hear your news. It's the toughest decision, hardest part of being and animal lover.
Sorry you had to take the tough decision, have been in this position myself a couple of times, it never gets any easier.
But you still have your memories and nobody can take those, make the most of them.
in our thoughts
