After yesterdays MOT and taxing the motorhome I now have my insurance due on the 6th June.

Presently with Comfort who sent me a renewal of £430 (2 other named drivers).

Leisure Motorcaravan (Highway) £314 ins only

    C & CC £314.79 ins only

    Caravanguard £257.50 ins only

and finally NFU who quoted just over £1000 :Eeek:

Will probably choose between C & CC or Caravanguard can't make my mind up.

    Which would you recommend.

Flying to Majorca tomorrow morning so I shall contemplate it whilst soaking up the sun.:thumb::thumb:

I nearly changed to Caravanguard, but when I got the paperwork there was a length limit on their (AA) European breakdown, so cancelled it and went back to Comfort as I know their (RAC) cover is fine.

Just check the others offer the same cover and it meets your needs..
Comfort give European comp cover and breakdown..

The others may may not include everything you have already..

I'm sure that's not the first time I've seen somebody else get a quote from the NFU that was sky high.

Their office used to be across the road from me, so I popped in just before I got my campervan. They had to do a customized quote because it didn't fit their normal motorhome quote....and ended up over twice as much as the one I eventually got from Safeguard. And the latter covered business use as well!

Someone must be getting a good deal with them for motorhomes though, otherwise they wouldn't keep offering it...would they?
