After leving Linton Lock last Sunday we decided to go over to THE GAY DOG or THE DOG as it is now Known. Situated just of the M5 at BROUGHTON it seemed the ideal overnight stopover on our way to WALES. We arrived at about 4-30pm.Lovely village and a nice pup we asked about stopping overnight and we where told it would be £10-00p. for each van,OUT OF THE CAR PARK AND INTO A NICE LAY BYE WHERE WE HAD A PECEFUL NIGHT £10- 00p. MY ARSE.

When you approached the land lord, had you already bought food and or drink, or did you just go in and ask ?
