we love the sound on our 2012 Fiat, and it can be balanced to be heard only in the habitation part of the van. Unfortunately the usb link to iPads phones etc only seems to work when the ignition key is on. Has anyone found a way to play music with out key in the ignition TIA

It seems from what your saying that the radio and CD player work without the ignition on but the USB doesnt
a simple solution would be to re jig the conections and give radio a permnant feed where the ignition one is at the mo

That's we did, simply entails the swapping of two wires in the harness to the radio. At the same time we put a tracker in

You always have to be careful as some radios draw a small current whether on or off, which can flatten the cab battery, so I fitted an over ride switch on the dash (there is a little blank removable plate - presumably for an ashtray - into which I fitted a push button switch with integrated led)
