Just entered Spain and stopped for our first night north of Barcelona on the Costa brava
Not seeing much sign of overnight parking options compared to France where they seemed to be everywhere. Don't want to end up paying £30 plus per night for campsites which give us very little back. So many great aires all over France for around €13 a night, often with loos and showers. That's including EHU as well.

You obviously aren’t trying too hard as we stayed on a farm Aire behind Girona airport for €10 with electric, superb shop and restaurant. Have meandered down the coast from there and never paid anything like what you have and that includes ACSI campsites. Currently at Calpe paying €14.

We are , also camping car park. I'm sure we'll find more as we go further, just wondered what other people were finding.

Spain is playing catch-up with France . and has nothing like as many ..

Aires in France are great but not found many with EHU, toilets and showers for €13.. they are generally Municipal sites, not aires..and many of them have been sold and now run by Campingcar-Park..

Spain is doing bloody well at putting in places for motorhomes. Some private, paying, some public, paying and lots of free stops also.

We're tonight at one of our local (to home) areas. FREE. Big spaces to park, a lit area, two service points (separate black and fresh water areas), a good local internet signal and lovely views. And, a bar restaurant in walking distance (check opening times in winter)!

All FREE (did I already mention that )

Only one campsite I'm told left in Calpe chap who lives there said other 2 sold for development
