Can anyone recommend a good free pdf creator please?

I have a 200+ page Word document that needs printing and binding, and the printers want it in pdf format.

    Many thanks.....:thumb:

When using Windows, I used to rely on PDF Creator freeware - I found it reliable. It instals as a virtual printer, so to create a PDF you open the document then select File>Print and choose PDF Creator from the list of available printers.

Now with a Mac, I don't have to worry about extra software as PDF creation is built into the system. I would expect it to be built into Windows nowadays?

Try open office, it's as good as Microsoft Office and it's free.

Beat me to it. All you have to do is open the Word file in Open Office, check formatting if there is anything out of the ordinary which might be corrupted and then choose Export as PDF from the File menu.
