Hi, anyone stayed at Alderborough, Suffolk lately:Cool:
I didn't know that, where did he fly them from. I have seen an old chap who straps this engine to his belt with a hand glider and away he goes.:flyingwelcome:I did once. Went to buy a plane there. There was actually a plane maker there once. "Not a lot of people know that."
Shadow was the name.
There is a nice site a few hundred yards from the town. Or just up the coast at Sizewell the Vulcan Arms is a CL nice right on the beach with great music on a Friday night. There are many more within earshot of Aldeburgh. If you let us know what sort of camping you want maybe able to help.:thumb: But as GJH says, off site camping is no longer permitted, but some still do it.Hi, anyone stayed at Alderborough, Suffolk lately:Cool:

Problems caused to the sea wall at Aldeborough by indiscriminate parking by some people were well publicised a couple of years ago. As a result of the abuse, camping overnight was banned in all of the sites owned or managed by Suffolk Coastal Council - a pity because they have been one of the most helpful of all councils in recent years in making provision for motorhomes.
For daytime parking in the area, [HI]Suffolk Coastal council have a specific caravan, motorhome & coach page on their web site [/HI]Link Removed.
