hi all been in to skipton for some supplies and decided to have pizza for tea so parked in the coach street carpark to eat.
whilst looking at the canal etc i noticed that the pay and display signs have now charges for overnight parking.

ok so how much for this privilege of parking on a large level quiet carpark complete with toilet block but obviously not a 24 hour one and within 250 yards from Busy Lizzies Chippy.

yes funsters you can park all night from 6pm to 8 am for the staggering sum of £2.00
and i have seen quite a few motorhomes on there of an evening.

I had absolutely no intention of sleeping here officer - merely pulled in as I was far too tired to/felt ill and couldn't continue and thought I'd better park up for a bit. I saw there was a night-time charge so I purchased a ticket, closed my eyes - and next thing I knew - you were knocking on my door .......
