Don't know about Gatcombe but for a few years I slept in the overcab in a Talisman, about the same size, big enough for one would not have tried two. The only problem there was not a lot of headroom but managed with no problems.

We had a Karmann with similar headroom in the luton...

Big enough bed but it was claustrophobic .. couldn't sit up and I used to wake up thinking I had been buried alive.. nor could the person at the back clamber over to get out .. so not for me.. OK for kids .. or very skinny adults who don't need to pee in the night ..

Thanks Dave! I was more concerned with weight really and damaging the vehicle if it was only for kids....
