    Hi,

I don't know if its only me, but just lately the opening of a thread is taking a very long time, the main web page loads with no real problem but when i click on a thread to open it it takes a long while ?? any ideas if its at my end ??

Just tested my broadband speed at Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test and its showing

    6302kbps Download
    373kbps Upload

    any help would be appreciated

    Brian

    Brian,

    Mine too is fairly slow.

    b/band test shows 7021 down, 833 upload.

Particularly bad if trying to add a reply to a thread IMO

Wonder whether it's a Server problem.Seems worse since the Arcade was added.Wonder if running all those FLASH apps is taxing it a bit or if there's an issue with bottlenecks to/from the server (Bandwidth).

    Just a thought.

It was on Sky news today that something had happened to a very large cable under the Atlantic and that millions of peoples internet was affected and being re-directed, mostly without them even realising and only with a slight drop in speed. Its a wonderful thing the tinternet.
