Hello all,
Whilst fitting a solar panel today there was a misshap..
The glass has shattered, not my fault and the guy fitting them is going to pay for a replacement, however it seems a huge waste to bin it as its a brand new 100w panel and its only the glass that is shattered, its all still in place with no unsmooth seeling to it (coated perhaps).
I was wondering if gluing a sheet of perspex to it and securing it to the frame incase the glas did become dislodged, and also to maintain the waterproofness.
How easy would it be to remove the glass from the frame and replace it with suitable glass.
Many Thanks
Nick
