2 habitation batteries fitted which are about at the end of their useful life, so replacement is due. The compartment will only take 2 batteries but have found a way to add a third battery very close by in a safe manner.

Many mechanical things are best replaced as pairs and certainly batteries working together would be included in this, but does that mean that batteries work best in pairs or would 3 batteries all replaced at the same time of the same type be acceptable or does it need to be either 2 batteries or 4?

Think that question makes sense?

My teacher once said to me
If you have £1 in one trouser pocket
and £2 in the other trouser pocket what do you have?
I of course replied someone else's trousers on:xdoh: But you get the drift
You treat however many you have as one big battery adding up the Amp Hrs together

The sweet spot with hab batteries is to have sufficient to only just leave room for a driver. Bit like solar panels really.
