Now back in Sarfend for a couple of months.
Just a general recommendation when renting from airports.

Before you leave the airport be sure to see exactly where you have to bring back the car to, and what route to take to get there. Take gps co-ords if you use a sat nav.
Some airport roads in and around car rental returns are "complex".

These were the Which? Best Broker for car hire this year (& previous years) are UK based, well priced, no hidden extras, fair fuel policy & full cover available - we have used them for hire in Portugal many times & good when we were delayed https://www.zestcarrental.com/?gclid=CIuumLuw6c4CFQgq0wodPL0CDw#
Others to consider are three of the best rated car hire companies:
    Auto Reisen 91% Alamo 77% Enterprise 77%
Having been ripped off by Goldcar  (never again) we would choose a UK based company.

We've never had any issues worldwide with either Sixt or Europcar or Holiday autos & all were available in Larnaca last time we went (y)

    Thanks all.
    Gone with Zest, @Wombles
Found cheaper but too many terms and conditions and pay for this then by the way you need you need the other.
    Just one price

    Good tip @GeriatricWanderer thanks

    Get collision damage waver
    Just to make sure

You will have no plates that show you up as none resident
Red plates I believe from 12 yrs back
Different colour from locals in Greek Cyprus

    Not sure in Turkish Cyprus

And driving is pretty much the same as here (right hand drive )

Need to watch out for potholes on Cypriot roads nowadays (best to have full insurance cover) as not like they used to be :(
