I think you have just been very unlucky. Our Fiat based B584 Hymer is now on 97000Km, over 13 years, and we have had very little go wrong - one wheel bearing, one split turbo hose and one re-constructed steering frame. That was the big one, but cost only £390. Brian.

Just to add, I use long tie wraps to keep the scuttle drains clear, friend has used them on his MH for some time.
