As title says, we coming down from Kulata Bulgaria, and looking on P4N not much until Katerini. Any spots worth stopping for we’ll much appreciate if any would like to share. Thank you.

There's one next to Kerkini Lake and one at Serres on my stopover map but haven't visited them myself personally...

Royal tombs of Vergina worth a visit.

2 x stopovers (Vergina 1 & 2) nearby on my map above.

Thank you anyways, we already passed Thessaloniki. Weather on the mountains was wet, very wet. We carried on, and stop near Katerini for the night.
We may stop at Varikou as in your map, pjay. 👍

While you are on, I would like to know best way to access black waste dumps, other than campsites, because we will be with the MH in Greece to end of October when many campsites are closed.

In 2021 we managed OK because on Patmos Island a Swiss friend told us about a sewage pumping station near his house and that was easy for the 6 weeks we were on the island. When we left and were travelling the mainland from Piraeus to Patras our two cassettes lasted us.

I wonder if there is a map of sewage pipes and chambers/pumping stations?

In Greece water and grey waste is not much of a problem but black waste can be.

If we can find places can we add them to your map? Maybe with a special symbol?

We are on Ancona-Patras 4th Sept camping on deck.

That worked 😊

There are a few derelict toilets marked on the map but not many, any info about places to dump black waste is most welcome..

Morning Raul and thanks. You can't add direct to the map, you need to send me an emal, there's information on the main page of the map - email is 'peteandjudy at hotmail.co.uk'
I've checked my spam folder and nothing in there.
Failing that just message me here and I'll sort it.

Understood, I just sent you a email with our new location and photo of the place. Let me know you got it, I forgot to sign the messageView attachment 744276

Yet another fantastic spot!

As you Raul, pjay, Tam and several others will assert: Greece offers so much for those of us who like to wild/off-grid. Plus when we want to pull up in a village for a taverna meal nobody cares a sh*t where you park.

An example: we were on my favourite island and we got friendly with a guy who takes people around adjacent islands for swimming, snorkeling picnics and he himself does spear-fishing. So when his passengers had gone home he used to come and have a drink with us and often gave us his 'spare' catch, which we then took to the taverna to cook - no charge, well I have been going there for several years with my boat and we do spend a few €.

In my opinion it equals France for MHoming, but in a more relaxed way. We like both.

Thanks, difficult to pinpoint exactly, if you could give coords I could get it spot on.
I've listed it for now under 'Velanidia - mainland' and added your photo. Coords i've got are 39.29123 22.88137

Is your first entry for Varikou? If so I'll add one of your photos too, along with a quick comment if you have one.

Post 11 are all from Varikou. The quietest place I overnighted so far. Not a soul, just odd local car pass. At night nothing. Great place to chill unwind, take in the scenery and even have a dip if warm enough. We had a bbq for the evening, and 4G signal pretty strong.

This one is right on the beach between two villages. Some deserted holiday homes, 2-3 locals I have seen and one dog walker

We did ask that dog walker if the tide is coming to high. No, the response was, ppl do sleep overnight by the boats. I never had the sea so close, 10m the most pretty calm it’s a small cove. Pretty quiet as I type and 2 stray dogs are guarding us to. I fed them earlier..

I don't think my 'Greece WC Water' document is viewable to some in my post #9 above so I've attached it again as a PDF doc below .....

What a day, we made it to Athens, the camping Athena would not take us in. No conversions allowed, only CE factory build. That’s this one

We did find another further north that’s just ok. Cost £20 with usual WC showers dump and water. Washing machine extra as expected, a bar with swimming pool and basic tavern food.
That’s this one

Hi Raul, if you're coming back across to the Peloponnese after Athens, there's 2 nice spots at Lake Vouliagmenis and Cape Melengavi just north of Corinth, both on the map. (y)

Here is another spot I found by myself. We was looking to stop for a late lunch and nothing on P4N. So followed my instinct towards the local beach paralia.
This can be added to the map pjay.
You can park near the beach, or set back by the trees for wind protection from the sea. There’s a large bin, and two street lights near the entry road. Feed the stray dogs and they will guard you all night. Five more German vans stoped here last night. Space for 30 vans easy.

Just had a quick look, it was on the map already but unverified, so I've added your comments and photo, listed under Giannitsochori - Peloponnese. (y)

Just a update, I hopped over from Patra to Bari. Totally different experience in the Latin land. The off grid experience is much harder to find than Greece. But, cheap agricamping in small villages are great. Ppl are very helpful.
