You need propane when it gets cold...if it's lpg you got from Morrisons that should be fine, check your valve on the bottle is open perhaps?

I don't think the Morrisons gas will be the problem as it contains a large proportion of Propane .... check bottle valves are on and any buttons on regulator are pressed.

Don't know if it's just something quirky with our van (American) but if I've turned the gas tap of and then if I turn it on to quick a pressure sensor in the regulated will react either stopping the flow or reducing it. I then have to turn tap of again, if quiet I hear a Sort of pop in the reg, give a few seconds and then on again slowly. Maybe worth a try.

Will try anything.
But no doubt a french chappy is going to take some euros off me for a regulator.
Any on have any idea of how much do they cost.

Does that mean you have it working now ?
Gus, I think they were referring to the cylinders being turned off since last fill up, and use in September, ie, no suspected leakage of LPG.

I have no practical use of refillables, but there are so many tales of failed regulators, restricting gas flow/pressure, it's certainly looking likely. :(

To the OP, I hope you get sorted very soon. (y)

Cheers,

Jock. :)

I have heard / seen Somewhere that one or more of these Refillable systems have a "full Flow" shut-off, what that does is when it detects (say) a failed hose etc the increased volume of flow makes the valve close off (or severely restrict?) the passage of gas. Is it possible that having been closed down for some time, with an empty gas line, if you open the valve quickly it may have "fooled" the Full flow device in to operation?.

It may be worth trying shut off the gas at the bottle and then open the valve very Slowly?.

Which is probably what is happening with Shawn&emma?

What Regulator do you have?

If it is a Truma Secumotion or similar, you have to press and hold the button on the pigtal and regulator where fitted.

Also, on some regulators, there is a little button you have to press if there has been a sudden large escape of gas?.

If you disconnect the regulators, have you got gas escaping from bottle?.

Sounds to me like you just need to hold a sequence of buttons to get the gas flow back.

Haven't you used it since June?

Or did you forget that you'd turned it off when you crossed the channel?

Glad it is sorted now though or you'd be cold lol

@laurieash. Is it sorted now? If it is, it would be good to know, and also how you overcame the problem. That may help others who may experience the same problem as yourselves, and would acknowledge those who offered advice.

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Are you saying the bottles were turned off causing your problem?

If they have been turned off and back on there will be a reset button that requires holding in for about 3 seconds.
Yes Tryed that also
