Slow cooker, we use ours a lot when off grid.Yes just the oven The one in our van is a complete wast of time and space and was looking for a different way of cooking The Duchess as now said we will buy an Air Fryer and use it when we are on electric hook up and try and fine something to replace the oven when we are off grid As anyone got any suggestions??

Because gas is only 55% energy efficient and takes twice as long. Why?
Are you talking about just the oven?
A traditional cooker is much more versatile.
An Air Fryer is portable so can be brought out when needed

Standard Remoska for us too. only 400w!Remoska does it for us. Around 500watt, no surge in power, cooks anything, no fancy controls. Use it indoors and the van.

The double skillets are supposed to be very good. We've just swapped to a van without an oven and reviewing our options for cooking. So far we are just using an old George Foreman grill that we had knocking about whilst we decide. It will probably end up being either a Remoska or a Ninja Dual but if we get on ok with the GF grill may just stick with that! We tend to need EHU for charging ebikes so off grid is fairly unusual for us.Yes just the oven The one in our van is a complete wast of time and space and was looking for a different way of cooking The Duchess as now said we will buy an Air Fryer and use it when we are on electric hook up and try and fine something to replace the oven when we are off grid As anyone got any suggestions??
We don’t have Lithium batteries, however we do have an Ecoflow River 600 invertor battery pack that we can charge up for off grid occasional use. We recently tried an air fryer that we picked up in the Aldi middle isle for £30. It is a Tower 1000w and we had it on the pack for about 20 minutes while off grid, worked a treat and we used the Kampa 800 watt collapsible electric kettle off it afterwards. We were impressed that it it gave us an off grid capability to use the fryer, kettle or slow cooker options without having invertor or lithium batteries fitted to our van. It can be charged either using electric hookup, cigarette lighter socket in van or via solar, for what it cost we were impressed £449 in their winter sale, normally £549. There are bigger versions but this one does what we need when off grid https://uk.ecoflow.com/collections/...portable-power-station?variant=43251974897856Hi we are thinking of changing cooker in our motorhome for an 1800w Air fryer I know we can run one on electric hook up But my Question is can it be run off grid. Our set up is 2 x100w Lithium batteries 2x 180w solar panels and a B2B charger with a 2000w inverter

That has a rating of 500 watts continuous, 1000 watts surge so you’re really pushing it. Surprised it hasn’t cut out from being overloaded. We don’t have Lithium batteries, however we do have an Ecoflow River 600 invertor battery pack that we can charge up for off grid occasional use.
