hi all, just browsing net found your site - was looking at a post from someone who was thinking of ski ing in winter from a flat in Alpes, then they decided they could use a winterised van... Signed in to you to reply as we have been to Alpe d,Huez in our Hymer C class ( near Grenoble) Fab site lovely resort- road up to it a bit scary ( yes I am not brave) same road down really quite an experience! Make sure your brakes are in very good order is all I can say.
Anyway we are looking forward to joining your forums... Wild camping, aires in France and Glastonbury with the 3 small grandchildren and my daughter are My Things in the van ( also cooking.. But that is a general hobby) The beloved other half is more energetic she likes biking running walking - we have had the van about 6 years and just LOVE it... Vacillate between full timing when we retire / getting a new van. ( but can't bear to think of getting rid of old one) have camped in tents and had a caravan prior to motorhome. Off to Scotland next week... Greetings to all K
