I am often going away on my own and wondered if there were many other females who venture out by themselves! I own a Nies Bischoff (not sure of spelling) and happily go away any time of year. I enjoy walking, Running, cycling and socializing. I live in the Midlands and if I am just going for weekends I tend to travel radius of 70 miles. I am member of both Caravan Club and Camping and Caravan Club abd prefer small 5 man sites, although do use bigger sites occasionally! I am semi retired so not really restricted to time. If there is anyone else out there with similar interest I would love to hear from you.

Sue, not sure if this is your kind of thing but Motorhome Fun are holding a rally at Chester over the Easter weekend, and there will be a specific area for solo travellers of either sex. This is a great way of meeting like minded people and if you want the details just shout.

Hi & welcome Susan - there are quite a few of us that travel solo for various reasons. As already mentioned the best way to meet others is at one of the shows/rallies. Everyone is made welcome and you'll be guaranteed a laugh. A sense of humour also helps on here .

I see you're from south derbys - I'm from Swad originally as was my late husband so I'm still over there quite a bit visiting family.
