My people tell me Mr Tootles is the man you need...
Need a pink lifejacket then Dave?
Me. Ask away, (If we are still talking, that is).
Ken and Linda know the way of the river
He's sorted. He fell off one this afternoon, and wanted to know how to get out of the canal......
Bugger you didn't tell him did you
We used to have one, lived on it for several years.
What do you need to know? I'll help if I can
Ask away Dave
Your all too late!!! He paid me the tenner!!
He has never had a whole tenner his carer would not allow it she is not that daft
Like a motorhome, but floats and takes locks a whole lot better.
Hope that helps
Doesn't go as fast either.
Well I jumped off one pi$$ed in the River Avon at Bristol about 30 years ago.
Big risk of viells disease apparently.
Or so said the policeman who met me at the quayside anyway
Now we're getting to the bottom of it.......
Back in 2005, there was a young guy in his thirties called Scraggy who lived on an old working boat on Trent & Mersey Canal at Fradley Junction. He started with flu like symptoms and died within three weeks of Weils Disease which is spread via rats urine.
Thanks all Tootles you are a star..
Obviously I didn't catch it cos I couldn't spell it
We tried one out but it had complications! NO brakes!! run the bugger up the bankside.
