Is Roquefort not just a field? We tried to stop at Roquefort a few days ago and it was rammed full when we arrived in the early afternoon.
The carpark was packed with cars and there was not a chance of our bus parking anywhere. I thought it might be a free cheese day.
We went on to Lac de Pareloup instead.
You may be OK if yu arrive later in the day when the day trippers have gone home.
Richard.
Roquefort sur Soulzon aire is in a carpark on the edge of the cheese village. Is Roquefort not just a field?

Did think about the route but was not sure what it would be like.Have you thought about trying the N135 from Pamplona into France? A good road but with a lot of switchbacks. There's a big Aire at St-Jean-Pied-de-Port. Traveled that way with our van and trailer last September and just a couple of weeks ago with the car.
Great road too, St Jean very nice with an Aire.Did think about the route but was not sure what it would be like.

That aire looks nice (and remote) might give it a go if passing.Used the C121a three days ago coming North. As usual, a great route! This year, chose to take the C121B, half way along from Pamplona to San Sebastian, and stopped after 12km at a small free Aire at Otsondo, just before entering France. Rejoined A63 at Bayonne and missed quite a few tolls from the border to Bayonne as a result!
