yup.. we just need two 'experts' to disagree and we are set to go..

would rank up there with reverse polarity ...

all i know is i have been powering 240v fridges in my trailer for almost 14yrs . now its powering my fridge in the house plus a full size upright freezer . i run a lead into the house from my inverter in the trailer.
in october its not sunny enough in uk . but come november in spain i shall be back powering the fridge in the trailer and lots of other items all winter till i get home .
the first cheap moroccan regs switched off then took ages to come back on . the later pwm regs have been working great for about the last 7 yrs . i have bought 2 as spares just in case . but with two banks of 3 x80wt panels i seem to have lots of power . and havent spent a fortune .
