Had my Kia Picanto MOT`d,, flew through,, dont need one till March, but wont be here so got it done early..
Did you know that now, (not sure when it came in) your tow bar is part of the MOT if fitted "Not The Electrics"...
And if found to be sub standard and likely not to be safe,,,, They can fail your car..
So make sure it is bolted up tight and fixed to the appropriate chassis parts and not a home made one that is likely to fall to pieces,, if it is not substancial and you dont use it ,,, "Take it Off"..
I was watching the MOT being done and one guy was giving it some welly pulling and pushing and another guy was watching and looking at the fixings to the chassis,,
Hence my question to them "What the bloody Hell you doing" and he told me..:Sad:
You all probably new this anyway.. oh:
And before any one says "TOW BAR ON A KIA PICANTO" it`s to take a small trailer to the tip with household rubbish..
