It's great!!! This is what it was like when I parked here out of choice.

No hoardes looking thru the windscreen when you open the curtains in the morning.
A huge space for a boules tourament @horshamjack , and you can fart quietly without everyone turning to admire your musical abilities.

The idea is for it NOT to feel like a campsite!

Ensconced at a nice newish site just outside of Marrakesh. Jardins d’Issil

Moving north tomorrow. Waving goodbye to Tafraoute with a tear in my eye (soppy b@$%☆/d).

Back to maroc in a couple of years. New adventure next winter!!!

About a week and back to Spain. Kids are both over in june, so it will be nice to get back to a bit of spanish culture for a couple of months......... chinese, indian and full english breakfast....yeehaaahh for tourism, and that's not even in Benidorm (God bless Benidorm).

Anyway, enjoying the last week in maroc, up the coast, and as always, looking forward to our return, InshAllah.

Drove over the Tizi n Tichka to the WC at Barragem el Mansour Eddahbi today, spotted Tim & Ali @ Agouim going the opposite way did wave not sure if you spotted us ,

P.s the camp site we stopped at quoted us 55dh pp checked out today payed 50dh pp per day 200dh total

they are resurfacing the Tichka and widening it in lots of places, a shame as it will loose some of it’s charm

Drove over the Tizi n Tichka to the WC at Barragem el Mansour Eddahbi today, spotted Tim & Ali @ Agouim going the opposite way did wave not sure if you spotted us ,

Tim is ‘desole’ !! He did see a Brit van and waved but didn’t suss it was you He did remember your huge smile though
We left Barragem el Mansouria Eddahbi because of the 35kmh winds which were forecast for the next few days. We headed to Ait-Benhaddou at the recommendation from Yolanda (search for sites) who we have met at both Tafraoute and the lake. At Ait-Benhaddou, not only was it teeming with tourists (we don’t think of ourselves as tourists) but there was a huge dust storm so didn’t stop. Back up plan was the Campercontact aire at Tizi-n-Tichka which was simply a restaurant car park just off the road.So carried on hoping to find somewhere on the way but ended up in Marrakech!
Upside is we found the Carrefour and replenished our wine/gin cellar So now camped at Camping Ferdaous for tonight and hope to move into the centre tomorrow.
Pity we missed you but next time? Tafraoute 2019?

Left Tafraoute today aiming for large area 20km north of Taghazout. Too windy.
Now parked at the top of a cliff near Imsouane all on my lonesome - lovely n peaceful!!!
Aiming for Souira Kedima tomoz.

I'm pitched up on the coast at Sidi Bounaime. Another quiet one. Peaceful except for the pounding of the Atlantic!

We are still in Marrakech, moving on tomorrow to the site near Mohammedia to do some washing. Then on up to the ferry by the weekend.

Hard to believe this spot is just 7 miles from Rabat!

I was fleeced for 5dh by the guardian though.

After 3 days we left the El Mansour Dam at Ouarzazate and are now at Agdz cheap and cheerful site @50mad will post some pics, town looks interesting prob stop tomorrow to give it a once over

Nice spot Marc n Sam, but about 8.00pm I got a knock from the local gendarmes, 'It is dangerous'. Didn't look it with folks on row boats and picnicing!
So had a chat with the guardian on the way out, (who had assured me on the way in, that it was ok to stay overnight, when relieving me of 5dh) but he was keeping his rent money!!!

Anyway, you may get to spend the night, but be prepared to move.

I had a long drive tomorrow to Ksar es Seghir but it is now closer!

I am at Ksar es Seghir and crossing back to Spain midday tomoz.
Just finished last of wine and will top up at Carrefour, Mercadona, MaxiDia and Lidl at Algeciras tomorrow pm.

Gib for the weekend then heading north.

From Aoufous we drove to Boudnib Camping Rekkam owned by a french couple nice site but not a lot going just a few shops close by, everything was at the other end of town
