    Hi Folks
I am thinking about getting a mizar gtl living 2007 or younger but I want to tow a 2 ton trailer with it has anybody had any problems with this or heard of any, I believe the gross weight is about 4 ton and the train weight is about 6 and a half ton which would allow me up to 2 and a half ton towing or am I talking rubbish.
    John

Pretty sure the train weight is 5500kg on those & the gross is 3850kg?

If that is what the plate is stating, then it should be fine. Might be a little slow depending on the power plant - but legal!

    look at your VIN plate.

top set of numbers = gross vehicle weight GVWR/MAM

second set = front axle or axle 1

third set = rear axle or axle 2

if theres a fourth set = rear axle or axle 3 (if fitted with tag axle)

    bottom set = trainweight

We have one , but have never towed with it. Ours was a dealer special i think , as its a mizar gtl living " top class"
Its the first one we saw with the layout we wanted. We then carried on looking for a few months , and went back to it. Still love it to bits. Very solidly built ( no plastic cupboards and hinges etc. ) We use it most weekends and for a couple of holidays a year , but are yet to go abroad in it , apart from the IOW haha. Prefering to fly as we only have 7 to 14 day slots till we retire. Touch wood , weve had no problems with it at all. We did change the cam belt just incase though.
We've had our 2006 model since 2009. We could have got the new version for not much more cash , but preferred the old models layout and build quality.:thumb: All we have changed is the upholstery, as the fabric ( chenille ) had worn on the knee rolls.
Hope you get your answer and welcome to the site.
