Before I order some thought I would ask if anyone has bought the heavy duty Mirror Protector/Guards (sold by Van comfort). I was wondering how they compare to genuine Mirrorguards as the price is slightly less.

Can't say I've looked at that particular one but all that I have seen in the last couple of years are a pale imitation of the original Mirrorguard. The cheap ones are great if you want to hide a cracked back, but to stand any chance of protection (at LOW speeds) then I would think only the Mirrorguard will recoup the investment.

As with everything you get what you pay for.
Genuine Mirrorguards for me every time.

Be careful as the mirrorguards told us that someone was selling very similar but not as strong ones. Not sure if it is these. I would ask mirrorguards first. We have the mirrorguards and ours have been excellent.

Another vote for the genuine article. Have proved very worthwhile.

Another vote for the original mirrorguard - plus the chap there offers good customer service.
