Hi,

Does anyone know of a site somewhere between St David's and Port Merion where we could stay for 3 nights in our motorhome (no car)? I would love to be able to see the sunset out at sea.

The only place I have found is Morfa Bychan Holiday Park but it is quite remote and PitchUp says Motorhome not allowed.

Thanks,

Paul

There are many campsites, it'll just depend which are open as I assume your thinking December / January ?
Bargoed Farm at Aberaeron is popular but pricey I think, but is likely to be open.

Have you looked on search for sites ? Often find that very useful.
I know there is an Aire facility at Fairbourne plus the golf club that is becoming popular.

We saw a lovely site in Parrog nr New Quay Ceredigion called Morawelon. SA42 0RW right on the beach. Don't know if its open in winter though
Close - but no cigar!

It's Newport, Pembrokeshire, not Newquay, Ceredigion!

The site is nice though. There are also a couple of other sites in Newport. Food and a pint at the Golden Lion highly recommended too.

Have a look at Mwnt just north of Cardigan.
Couple of places there overlooking the coastal path.

So sorry! My bad. We stayed up the hill with fab views. Very nice site but big steep hill to the beach. Village becomes Cheltenham on sea during the school holidays though. Most houses are second homes

Shell Island has a pretty nice view, just take your time choosing.

Thanks all, going to try for Bargoed Farm which is in the right place and looks great.
