This is what ours looks like LH side looking from the front, I assume the pink with blue top one is brakes and the yellow top one is clutch or maybe other way round?

View attachment 813991
Buried white one is washer fluid, white with black squareish cap is power steering, pink with blue cap is engine coolant and white with yellow cap is brakes. No sign of a comfortmatic take-off from the white with yellow top so you probably have a pair of reservoirs buried behind th engine ECU on the other side of the engine bay over he gearbox.

Start at post #16 and work down from there please sweetie pie. :giggle:
Only on my first beer, nothing like mine I just have one master reservoir for brakes and clutch.

So what's happening as I assume they have had it in their workshop today?

Have any of you used Daisy-Hill MOT Station over at Burstwick? I was told they can fit motorhomes in ok by son in law for an MOT. Not sure if they do other work on vans or not though, may just be cars

I think I better check the manual as that's not what Lenny HB says.......

10p says I'm right for once though 😂
Looks like we're all wrong. Looked at the manual and yellow cap is power steering, further look under bonnet this morning and I found hidden right low down at the back the brake and clutch fluids I think.

FIAT designers are terrible. All the things that need regular user checks ought to be easy to get to under the bonnet, and clearly identified.

They have recently deleted the dipstick so the only engine oil level check is digital. What could possibly go wrong?

Mines worked fine for 4.5 years as the dip stick is right behind and awkward to get to so I just check the display on startup

I can 100% assure you that the order I've given you is correct and the yellow is brake fluid. The two new cylinders you've found are the rectangular Comfortmatic ATF hydraulic fluid and round eggcup Comfortmatic DOT4 clutch fluid reservoir. Ignore the manual.

If you do not know 100% what you are looking at you shouldn't be even thinking of touching them. The one with the yellow cap is the brakes. what the power steering is the one to the left in your first photo, the blue cap & pink fluid is the engine coolant. The two at the back hidden away are the dot 4 clutch fluid & the comortmatic atf fluid

I just can't believe that you all don't know which is which, how the hell do you check these things if you don't know what is what , no wonder there is so many gearbox failures if folks are putting antifreeze in there clutch reservoir.:(:Eeek:

The yellow cap is on the cylinder feeding the brake master cylinder attached to the brake servo unit so if the manual says it's power steering then I give up

Well what I can see of the photos , not knowing anything about fiats, surely it says around the caps what they are.
I still can't believe there is anyone that doesn't know what they are on your own motors, it's the first thing you should know about your van as soon as it is at home.

Why the only reason I open the bonnet is to fill the screen wash.😁

Once upon a time I would have known what is where but these days that is the job of the garage. Between 2 year services I am happy to top up the windscreen washer and the engine oil if needed.

The garage isn't with you every morning though when these should be checked.
If I had a hundred grand motor that can cost 10 grand to fix I would be checking these things after every large trip.
In fact I do it now with a ten grand van.

Guys , I know no one on here takes the slightest notice of what I say but just this once, please instead of obsessing about every last percent of a volt in your lithium system, get to know your van , have a look under the bonnet at the important stuff.
Just seeing a little less fluid or a bit of a oil drip, or anything different could save you thousands of pounds in repairs or even your life.
A couple of minutes every trip to look around the engine bay and tyres could save you having to abandon your holiday.
