    When the weather is nice you meet so many people at a rally. People are sat outside, you wander along and can stop to chat. When everyone is battened down, you don't meet as many and it's not quite as much fun. That said some of the best nights on rallies have been in leaky tents that you think are going to take off at any minute. :)

    i think the bring and buy and sandras hen party last year would take some beating that was a monsoon ask beerdrinker ken,,,,lock out of his van with main rooflight fully open ha ha

    We simply had Admin Bryan up to his kness in water holding the 240v connection over his head
    with HSE full approval he was told to shout for help when water reached his chin to give us time to evacuate the tent :drink:

    And in that mini monsoon I had 3 men hanging onto my wind out awning trying to hold it down. It tore :(
