Arrived at Kielder water tonight and parked up at the Phesant Inn who I had emailed in advance asking if it would be ok. Spent a couple of hours in the bar having a lovely home cooked meal. Meals very reasonable and very friendly atmosphere, they have said they will alleys welcome Motorhomes if they have the room. They have a sloping car park at the front and a relatively flat one at the back.

Just have to say the ginger pudding was scrumptious as was the main courses and they don't sell chips with anything now that's a first even their fish doesn't come with chips.

Thinking back to the tattoo thread, looks like you've had you van tattooed.

I'm not doubting your word Gerry buy I've just had a peep on Google Earth and there is NO sign of you or your lovely van in that pub car-park, are you just writing it all to gain an alibi for some skulduggery you are involved in?

Looks great, but some risk that others stumbling out after a few too many might also go for the nearest door!! Hope you have lots of room....
