I'm having trouble on Google finding spa / swimming pool centres in France. Searching spa or piscine is not really throwing up much.
We like to swim regularly to keep supple. We've got a bit spoiled and prefer spa swimming pools with steam and sauna to colder large public pools.
Anyone got any suggestions? We're headed towards Chaumont and Dijon right now but will want to find pools all round France.
Is there any chain like Bannatyne's spa in france?

We stayed on the aire at Bains-les-Bains which is a spa town with Roman baths and a large thermal spa / bathing complex within a few minutes walk of the aire.

It sounds lovely but too far east for where we're heading right now
I'll bear it in mind for another trip though, thanks

Any more ideas? Could this be one area the forum are quiet on? Like my husband says ' cowboys don't use saunas' perhaps haha.

Don't do swimming but have been here last year, and if you could spare the time, it's well worth a detour(y)

Love to swim, I have tried searching out swimming areas in France also with little success. Surely there must be a resource to search somewhere?

    Thanks
I found a piscine France site but mainly aimed at schools
There is one in Langres we will check out tomorrow.
All the sauna searches seem to bring up is sex clubs and gay parties !

GPSPassion gps forum is dual French/English. Their POI section may have pools/spas. Alternativally there is a French TomTom forum which also has POIs. You could also PM Frankie and ask if she knows of a list

Finally found a lovely spa pool in Langres.
The word is 'balneo' for extra water facilities such as sauna and jacuzzi etc
This one was great - large pool plus an extra if there were lessons. Big jacussi, two steam rooms two saunas.
    All for 8e very reasonable
I had to borrow one of their 'bonnets' though as you have to have your head covered.
