Hello,
We are looking for a motorhome, for myself my husband and two small children.
We are looking for a six berth with with a double bed at the back we are not sure whether to go for a lounge that turns into a bed in the back or a bed that is permanent.
Also is there any makes we should avoid or go for?
Thank you

Since 2008 & many years tugging
The Exis was nice but felt too small a living space inside plus bit too expensive
Back on the hunt for a German 6 berth.
The later Exsis on the Fiat base is much more roomy even though it is the same width, we found the Ford ones to tight for two of us.

There is a Niesmann Bischoff Arto 69g that is almost identical layout to the Hymer we were after but are struggling to find.
Has anyone got any experience of Niesmann Bischoff Arto 69g ?

Hi @Hanski , I cannot help with your question but just to say, if your thread falls off the recent page, you may do better to start a new thread with your last line of this post in the title, it might attract the attention of someone who can answer you.

Edit...seen you have done just that!

This Hymer sold a couple of weeks ago, looks like a cracking van for the money.

It's worth waiting for what you want, as decent vans don't come up for sale often.

N&B are very well built, great value vans.
Downsides, you're unlikely to find one at 3500kg and many have been owned by long termers, so can be 'well used' even if mileage isn't high.

Hi we have a Frankia i700 comfort with fixed rear beds that you could use as a lounge and a huge overcab bed. It has masses of storage huge garage etc. And you have that German quality. We haven't had ours long but think it is wonderful definitely worth a look.
Hope this helps
P.S it is 4000kgs don't think you could get by with less considering your requirements
