No bias in that blog then :)

Part way down it asks "From the example above how would anyone know that staying overnight in a vehicle or indeed lighting a fire would be an offence.". Perhaps the answer is in the illustration at the top of the page which mentions that failure to comply with the byelaws could result in a fine. As we used to be told as kids when we needed to find something out "YOu've got a tongue in your head haven't you?" :)

Hi Graham long time since we conversed, I follow the blog for the wildlife issues it highlights especially raptor persecution and the cover ups in the National Parks, so just post a link here when it comes to camping/access issues or restrictions.
In my opinion its very well written and researched by the authors so we'll beg to differ on "bias"
They don't pull punches and do demand answers and to quote their mantra, " Our two National Parks, the Cairngorms and Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, were created for the people of Scotland. This website has been set up to help ensure that Scotland’s two national parks deliver the aspirations which led to their creation".
Bringing into the open what goes on behind the scenes on issues that could easily be swept under the carpet by the use of social media can only be a good thing.

Hello Stewart :xThumb:
Is anything actually being swept under the carpet? The problems caused by irresponsible camping in the national park have been discussed on here a number of times over the years and they have had this page on their web site for a couple of years. The page has been updated with box containing a link to another page explaining the byelaws in detail, including where motorhome camping places will be available. The blog article makes no mention of either page, which it really should do shouldn't it? :)
